Who we are

Taniel Web is a web design and development studio based in Andorinha, Bahia, Brazil (CNPJ 62.354.057/0001-46). We’re the controller of the personal data handled here, meaning we decide how and why it’s used.

As a Brazilian company, we follow Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), and we apply the GDPR to visitors from the European Union. This policy covers tanielweb.com in all three versions (Brazil, Portugal, and English) and any contact you make with us by booking a call, WhatsApp, email, or phone.

What we collect

Only what we need to get back to you and, if it comes to that, build your project:

  1. 01When you book a callyour name, email, the time you pick, and anything else you write in the booking form.
  2. 02When you message, email, or call usyour number, email address, or phone and whatever is in your message, usually your name, company, and project details. The buttons on the site open WhatsApp with a message already written, which you can edit before sending.
  3. 03When you just browsenothing that directly identifies you. The server that hosts the site logs technical data for each visit (IP address, browser, page, and time), like any website. If you allow it, Google Analytics also records how the site is used (see Cookies and storage).

We don’t ask for sensitive data, such as health, religious, or biometric information.

How we use it

Each use has a legal basis under the LGPD (art. 7) and the GDPR (art. 6):

  1. 01Replying to you and preparing the callsteps you asked for before a possible contract.
  2. 02Writing the proposal and doing the workperforming the contract, if you hire us.
  3. 03Invoicing and bookkeepingcomplying with tax and accounting laws.
  4. 04Keeping the site secure and runningour legitimate interest, plus the Brazilian legal requirement to keep access logs (Marco Civil da Internet).
  5. 05Understanding how the site is usedwith Google Analytics, only with your consent.
  6. 06Protecting our rightsin case of a legal or administrative dispute.

We don’t use your data for advertising, we don’t build profiles, and we don’t make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and storage

No ads and no tracking pixels. Google Analytics only sets cookies if you allow it.

Fonts and images are served from our own site, with no calls to services like Google Fonts. The site only stores these preferences in your browser, and they never leave it:

  1. 01Your languagewhen you switch versions (BR, PT, or EN) or accept the language suggestion, we save your choice (tw-idioma) so the right version opens next time. It stays until you clear your browser data.
  2. 02Intro animationwe note that the opening animation already played during this visit (tw-entrou) so it doesn’t repeat. It’s cleared when you close the tab.
  3. 03Cookie choiceyour answer to the cookie notice (tw-cookies), so we don’t ask again. It stays until you clear your browser data or change your choice below.

To suggest the version in your language, the site reads your browser’s language setting. That happens on your device; we don’t use your IP address or location.

On the booking page, the calendar is provided by Cal.com and may set its own cookies, strictly needed for it to work (Cal.com’s privacy policy).

To understand how the site is used, we use Google Analytics, and only with your permission. It records the pages you visit, time on each page, your type of device and browser, your approximate city and country, where the visit came from, and clicks on the WhatsApp buttons. We can’t see who you are: Google Analytics doesn’t store your IP address, and Google’s advertising features are turned off.

If you allow it, it sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies, which last up to 2 years. If you decline, no cookies are set and Google only receives signals without identifiers, used to estimate total visits. We honor Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, the site treats it as a “no” and doesn’t ask.

You choose in the notice on your first visit, and you can change it anytime:

Google Analytics…

We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined in US state privacy laws such as California’s. It only passes through services we use to work, each getting the minimum it needs:
